What it watches

One control layer over five worlds that rarely talk to each other

Orders, inventory, transit, suppliers and finance each live in their own system. Meridian puts an agent on each one, so the whole chain can be reasoned about as a single living graph — not five dashboards you check by hand.

The model

A control layer that reasons — not a dashboard that reports.

A dashboard tells you something broke. Meridian works it out. Three principles govern how the agents respond when a node fails.

Branching

One signal, many paths

Every event opens a decision tree. The orchestrator weighs options in parallel and commits to the branch that resolves the case — not a fixed script.

Redundancy

Always a fallback

Primary warehouse empty? Fail over to a second. Supplier defaults? Switch to the backup. Critical paths are mirrored so one failure never stalls the chain.

Dependency

Order of operations

Some steps gate others — you can't trace a parcel without the tracking ID, or file a claim without the carrier reference. The graph encodes who waits on whom.
