I’m Zane Hosgood.
I create presentations, films and interactive pages that explain complex ideas. I also build practical AI systems for repeated tasks. You work directly with me.
Where I come from
I grew up in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and am based in Hong Kong.
My background spans recruitment, broadcast editing and brand-film production.
I joined CNN International in 2021, editing news, documentaries and branded features. I edited a two-part hard-news feature that won an Emmy, and on a story that took a Gracie and an award from the Foreign Correspondents' Club in Hong Kong. I also directed live broadcasts.
Alongside it I ran glassblok, my production studio: brand films, drone work, and executive producer credits on campaigns for The Peninsula Hotels, CASETiFY and West Kowloon Cultural District. The Peninsula films took four gold and six silver awards.
Since 2023 I have worked in workplace strategy and change for large corporates across Asia Pacific: tender documents, board decks, and the change programmes behind office moves of well over a thousand people.
