04film, explainers and diagrams
Ninety seconds that people watch to the end.
A film is the only format that controls its own pace. Used well it does the job of a twenty-slide deck; used badly it is a corporate video nobody finishes.
Converted from Hong Kong dollars at indicative rates, August 2026. Work is quoted and billed in HKD.
What you get
- Script and storyboard, approved before any frame is made
- Original artwork and motion. No stock template library
- Voice direction, or a recorded voiceover
- Master file plus the cuts and aspect ratios you need
- Captions, because most of it is watched with the sound off
- One round of revisions against your notes
What we need from you
- What it is for, and where it will be played
- Any footage, product captures or artwork you already have
- Brand guidelines and fonts, if there are any
Nothing needs to be tidy first. Raw material is normal and it is what we are set up for.
howthe working sequence
Three steps, and the expensive decisions all happen in the first one.
step 1 · the script first, always
Ninety seconds is about 220 words. Getting those right is most of the work and all of the risk.
step 2 · storyboard, then build
You approve the frames before they are animated, which is the point at which changes are still cheap.
step 3 · delivered in every shape you need
Sixteen by nine for the room, square and vertical for the feed, with captions burned or separate.
worksee the method on someone else’s deck
We take a public deck apart every week.
Nine questions, about ninety seconds.
You get a price range and a date at the end of it, before anyone talks to anyone.
